Psalm 127:1
"Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain."
We believe missions cannot be truly fruitful unless accompanied by meaningful intercession. Missions requires powerful proclamation and selfless service; prayer is the vehicle that spiritually empowers those efforts.
For some of us, our most lasting eternal impacts are accomplished through our passionate and persistent prayers.
So will you join us in praying individually and corporately for missions?

There are 79 million Shoptars and they are a least-reached people group at a mere 0.003% Christian! There is a great need for cross-cultural workers to be willing to explore short-term (2 weeks), medium-term (1-12 months), or long-term opportunities. Pray that the Lord of the Harvest will call more workers!
One of UB Global's cross-cultural workers serves in a highly restrictive country, which can be draining. She is home for a few weeks visiting with family. Pray for true physical, mental, and spiritual rest for her, and that she will have a meaningful time reconnecting with family.
Pray for innocent Haitians, including UBs, caught in the cross-fires of gang wars. In Cite Soleil, UB Global partners with Christian Horizons Global by sponsoring children; there are two UB churches there as well. Recent battles between rival gangs have left scores of people dead and thousands trapped. The team there describes it as a “war zone”, spilling over into other neighborhoods as well. We are grateful that as of last week, none of the sponsorship families have been physically hurt. Pray for safety, a good resolution to the gang wars, and the church to serve the community during such hard times.
The Nunez family from Honduras is commissioned to serve in Thailand. They need to come to the US to improve their English and raise a support team. However, they are having a hard time getting the US embassy in Honduras to grant them a visa. Join us in asking for favor and for a visa.
Chloe, the UB Global intern in Thailand, is the only foreign missionary on the field for a few months. Her teammates will be returning later this summer. Pray that as she partners more with local Thai teammates, Chloe will grow in unique ways and have an impactful time in loving the Thai neighbors.
