Oshari
(We use the name Oshari publicly for security reasons for the country and its people. It’s not their real name.)
The Oshari are a non-religious people group living in a country where the flow of information is highly controlled. There are about 30 million Osharis and only about 1.6% profess to be Christian. Christianity, and all other religions, are strictly prohibited. If an Oshari is found to be a Christian, they and their extended family members can face imprisonment and death. The few missionaries working with this group use their professions to share the good news of the Gospel.

Two Other Locations
There are two other locations where missionaries are serving among unreached people groups through education and community development. These regions are also closed to the Gospel. Click here to support work in those regions.Learn More
